Each week I will try to share a different artist or thing that inspires me in one way or another.
I am a great fan of printmaking and one of my favourite printmakers is
Angie Lewin who works in linocut, woodcut and screen printing. Angie lives in Norfolk and is inspired by the clifftops and saltmarshes of the North Norfolk coast. I love the colours and the themes of her work. It has a great stylised quality that reminds of 1950's prints (which is another passion of mine so more of that another week). I have her book
Plant and Places which is beautiful and maybe I will own a print one day!
