Metro

Here are a few of the new Metro which were launched at Top Drawer. The range comprises of 12 designs 150mm square. The male market is a difficult one but I really enjoy designing for it so I had a bit of fun playing with quirky topics that I hope will appeal to a variety of male ages with subjects from vintage cameras, man sheds, cycling to trekking and astronomy!

Check out the full range at www.redberryhill.co.uk . If you would like to stock any of the ranges please email sales@redberryhill.co.uk to request a trade brochure and price list.

Top Drawer 2013 - Part 2

Sunday arrived and there was a sense of excitement and anticipation. We made sure we arrived early just incase we need to sort any of the stand out before we started.

A lot of the other publishers commented that footfall was down on other years, partly down to the fact of the snow that was threatened on the Monday and Tuesday, but of course I had nothing to compare it to and enjoyed the whole experience. Over the three days we had a lot of interest in the ranges especially "Metro" with comments that it was a different male range on offer.

Although I did not come away with a stack of orders, I have a book full of contacts and follow ups to get started on which I am very excited about. It was also great to spend some time with fellow publishers all of whom were really helpful, it is such a great industry to be a part of.

All in all I feel the show was a success for me and I am glad that I did it and I have decided that I will do PG Live in May too, so better get planning!

I have to say a big thank you to my husband Richard who help me set up and was my support on the Sunday. Also to Fiona and Carolyne who helped me on the Monday and Tuesday and to my Mum and Dad who did all the school runs it was much appreciated!

Top Drawer 2013 - Part One

So off we headed on Saturday down to Earls Court in London to set up for my very first trade show. We arrived in plenty if time and was faced with this blank canvas, my home for the next three days.

Richard was very proud of the first board he put up!

Three hours later and we had created the stand. I was so glad that I made this little mock up before we went, it was great to see it all come to life!

Will be back tomorrow with a full report of the show itself

Happy New Year

I am hoping that 2013 is going to be an exciting one for Red Berry Hill.

For a start I have my very first trade show Top Drawer in less than a week away! With that in mind I thought I would share some of my goals for this year:

1. Exhibit at Top Drawer
2. Get my ranges into retailers
3. Get agents
4. Raise my profile (Press etc)
5. Design Occasions/Ages
6. Exhibit at PG Live (May)
7. Submit entries to the Henries
8. Design new Everyday ranges
9. Attend the Ladder Club (Sept)
10. Design Christmas ranges

Here is hoping that I can achieve most of them. I will be back soon with posts about the run up to Top Drawer along with a full report of the show plus a look into the process of how I came up with all the new ranges.
